Formed in 1984 by Arthur G.W. Jenner, Hillcrest Property Agency, based in Essex, was created to offer a much needed residential block management service in a market that was lacking a definitive combination of trusted construction industry knowledge and solid financial based services.
Through the late eighties and early nineties the success of the company grew and with it a good reputation for putting personal contact and attention for detail at the top of its priorities.
Along with the growth of the business a new member of the Jenner family Arthur Jnr. joined the company bringing with him a 20 year background in quantity surveying and a desire to develop the family ethics that Hillcrest had become known for.
Portfolio acquisitions followed in Newbury and Swindon and later requests to manage units in Bath and Bristol were on the table. This led to the purchase of Bristol Property Management; a dormant company and offices set up in the esteemed Whiteladies Road area of Clifton.
The success of the Bristol office encouraged the Jenner’s in 2006 to take the step of incorporating both offices under one moniker, Hillcrest Estate Management and with over 96% of our portfolio renewing annually, we believe our commitment to service speaks for itself. In this exciting period of development everybody in the team is looking forward to working with our existing customers whilst welcoming new clients to the Hillcrest family.
HEM also has a membership of the professional body ARMA (Association of Residential Managing Agents) with methods approved by the RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) and FSA (Financial Services Authority).
